Spacewell Germany has already been testing with aqua for over five years. Slavcho Mavrodiev, Head of Software Development, explains in an interview which development has been completed as a result and why the last external test of the software went absolutely smoothly.
You have been working with aqua for more than five years. What has changed as a result?
SlavchoĀ Mavrodiev: We were able to raise the quality of our software products to a new dimension. At the same time, our testing process has been shortened.Ā Because for us, it is important that testing never takes longer than development.

You need to have your software certified regularly. How does the aqua test management tool support you in this?Ā
SlavchoĀ Mavrodiev: Testing involves not only checking how the software works, but also the internal development process. Moreover, the tracking (trackability) allows us to document the entire testing process. We have gained an entirely new level of transparency, which is a critical factor for certification according to IDW-PS-880 and has made this process much easier.
How important is the topic of automation?
SlavchoĀ Mavrodiev: For us, test automation is enormously important. And since sound automation is based on overarching test management, we rely on aqua. In the future, we also want to automate our tests more and more. Thanks to the connection to automation agents, our data is absolutely consistent. The complete control of the test automation is thus carried out from aqua.
